PORTFOLIO

I am a BA HONS Fashion Design Graduate from Staffordshire University. Prior to this I have also studied HNC and HND Higher Diploma in Fashion Design and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles at Shrewsbury College. My experiences so far have enabled me to develop skills such as digital design to a very high level. My experiences so far have enabled me to develop skills such as tech pack creation to a very high level. I have learned how to sketch blank designs from scratch using illustrator and implement fabrics and colours into them using photoshop. I really enjoyed the digital side of designing; all my design work is produced digitally because, in my opinion, it looks more professional. I enjoy the versatility of being able to manipulate my illustrations and express my ideas to a greater extent digitally to professional standard.

I have developed different skills during my years of experience such as pattern cutting, CAD, and garment construction. During my study of Fashion Design, I have also internships for 3 different companies based on womenswear design. These internships required me to use my skills in illustrator and photoshop to create season collection designs and tech packs to accompany them. I had a chance to gain insight into the fashion industry and learn from industry professionals. This was a very interesting experience as this is where my main interests lie.

I am eager and willing to develop both my skills and knowledge, whilst learning new techniques from industry professionals. I am self-motivated and uniquely creative in a way that aligns with the brand values and work well as a part of a team, at the same time as being able to work on my own initiative
