CUSTOM BUCKET HATS AND HALTER TOPS 

 

In my spare time during summer 2021, I have started my own side hustle making and selling customised halter tops and bucket hats, doing so has helped me get my foot in the game within the fashion industry and landed me some internships .

The main reason for choosing bucket and halter tops during the summer was festivals were just about getting started back up after COVID and I thought this was a perfect opportunity to sell some customised outfits for the events. 

 

Using my skills within photoshop I wanted to create some unique bucket hat designs that would contain a limited design and that only one person would have. Taking orders through Instagram and communicating with the customer I was then able to use the software and create their own desired bucket hat design. Once the design was settled I then moved onto fabric sourcing so that it matched the design, depending on the bucket hat design, some of them even contained heat transfer prints and small pockets to make them stand out even more. To produce the bucket hats I created my own pattern pieces in sizes that ranged from XS-XL so that it was accessible for a wider audience. Each bucket hat was made to order with each unique design and detail.

 

To produce the halter tops was a very similar process to the bucket hats, the start was to get the wanted design down on photoshop with the correct fabric and detail which made it easier for me when it came to the production.

The halter tops were available in two different styles of which patterns were made and designed by me and ranged from sizes of XS-XL with a custom option to make sure it was made to fit the customer.
